Terms of Use

1. The two products
apikee ships open-source SDKs licensed under MIT, and a managed platform at apikee.dev offered as a paid service. These terms cover use of the platform; SDK use is governed by the MIT license shipped with each package.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and any API keys you issue through the platform. Notify us immediately if you suspect a key has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
- • No reverse-engineering of the proprietary platform components.
- • No use of the service to send spam, malware, or to attack other systems.
- • No attempts to disrupt rate limiting, billing or usage tracking.
4. Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Usage-based charges (overages, additional keys) are billed in arrears. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime on paid plans. The current status page is at status.apikee.dev. Local SDK verification continues to work during platform outages.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, apikee's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
